Product Description

OsoCozy Bleached Flat Diapers - These old fashion nappies are made of soft 100% birdseye cotton. 27 by 27 inches and 1 layer thick. Shown in picture folded over twice. Each diaper weighs 2.6 oz, 25% heavier and thus more absorbent than any brand found in chain stores that we have sampled. The material in our diapers is a little softer than you find in chain stores.

This is the original cloth diaper still used in many countries. These are a one size fits all diaper that requires folding to properly fit baby. These diapers also make great dish towels, cleanups, burp cloths , lap pads, changing pads, bibs, wash cloths and baby wipers. These diapers are also used as optical cleaning cloths, CD & record cleaning cloths and for shoe shine polishing rags. Because these diapers are only one layer thick they dry quickly on your cloths line or in your dryer. Used with pins and plastic pants or with diaper covers. If you have the patience and pioneering spirit using these diapers are far and away the least expensive way to comfortably diaper your baby. Sold by the dozen.

These Flats are better then Gerber and get the job done! I prepped them by boiling them-2 or 3 at a time in two pots for 10 mins each, it took me 1:30 hours to prep all 2 dozen of mine. However after 3 months of use I feel like I should have boiled them for at least 15-20 mins to melt all the wax off. But that's just a newbie mistake, some people boil their Flats for 25-30 mins each pot. Besides taking a few hours to prep, once they are ready, they are perfect to use for my babies! They shrank down to 26 X 26, almost perfect square with rolled edges. It's the nature of the fabric to roll, with a fold like the Kite Fold I can fit my 15 pound 4 month old and 31 pound 27 month old, both heavy wetters. And just a note about the fit, the Origami Fold is too short in the rise for my chunky 4 month old, but it probably will fit a normal build baby. I haven't had a blow out using just the flat for my BFed baby poop! It's so great since we always had leaks with disposables...I've used these for 3 months and only had one small smug on my wool cover because my baby had out grown the Origami Fold and I had to learn more folds to make it fit her right! Even when the poop is runny 2 out of 3 times it won't dirty my PUL covers...it is really that absorbent! I use two Flats for overnight and have no leaks with a wool cover...and we live in Hawaii so wool really does work in warm weather too!
For my normal wash routine I do a hot/cold heavy duty wash on my HE front loader with extra rinse and wash. Then when that's done I do a 20 min rinse/spin. Then all are dry by 40 mins on low in by dryer. I also hang them on the line to get sunned so I don't have stains, but the Flats must be moist to remove the stains, it doesn't work if it's already dry!

When my kids were born 30 + years ago I had birdseye diapers that I used as burp clothes...they were the BEST. My daughter just had a baby and I told her she must buy them but the new Gerber ones were like stiff gauze...not the same as these at all. These...re just like the ones I used to have! Buy them...they are great.

These cloth diapers are worth the extra money. They are GREAT for burp clothes. They don't shrink in the wash and remain soft. So much better than the ones at the baby stores that look like cheesecloth!

Children grown and gone, I have no use for "nappies" for little tots. But as cloth for polishing motorcycles and cars they are great and highly recommended!.

I dont have much experience with cloth diapers, these are my first. However, I love these! Super soft! I have used them twice since I got them, yesterday afternoon, and I havent had a leak yet! I use the gerber diaper covers, 0-3 months, and they work really well together. You can do numerous folds with these diapers. Im still getting the hang of it, but even with my inexperience with cloth I havent had a leak yet. Doubled up last night and was totally surprised baby was dry, without a leak, in the morning. Great buy. I bought two dozen. I definately recommend!

Just like many of the other reviews, these are the real deal. Just like the ones we used on our kids 20-30 years ago.

Wonderfully soft and absorbent! Purchased for use as dish towels and they are the best! I highly recommend them. I keep a stack at the ready whenever I'm in the kitchen. I add a little bleach when I wash them and all the food stain disappear and my towels stay snowy white.

I use flatfold diapers for cleaning rags and have found these to be durable. The Curity brand is no longer acceptable, so am glad to find a good replacement.
