5.0 out of 5 stars Love these wipes!
I love these wipes! They are perfect when you use cloth diapers, as you just throw them in the wash together. I don't like the chemicals of disposable wipes, and the coldness of them makes my little boy pee all over. I use these with a homemade wipes solution (water, baby wash, and baby oil) in a spray bottle.

I got these wipes about 3 months ago and have been using them every day on my twin girls. I use a homemade wipe solution of baby wash, water and olive oil that I spritz on the wipes. They do shrink a lot after the first washing, but don't seem to shrink again after that. However, after every wash the edges of the wipes curl up, which also diminishes their size. I do what I can to flatten them out when folding, but I'm not about to take the time to iron them. Though they have some problems, they are soft wipes and don't bother either of my daughter's bottoms. They're ok, but not as cheap as they appear. The wipes are $9, but then you have to pay over $5 for shipping, which makes them almost $15 altogether. For close to that price you can get a nice organic cotton wipe if you use Amazon Prime and get free shipping. I don't think I'll use these again.

Very soft after a few washes and work just as well or better than disposable wipes! Much easier than separating cloth diapers from disposable wipes before starting a load of laundry. I use a solution of water (1 cup) Dr. Bronner's (1/2 tbsp) and baby oil (1 tbsp). I go light on the soap, as more than this seemed to give my baby a rash. They do stain a bit, but I haven't tried bleaching in the sun yet. They also fit perfectly in disposable wipes containers, so I take them with me in a travel case for Pampers wipes. This is the best deal I have found for cloth wipes - I'll be ordering more soon!

3.0 out of 5 stars easier to make your own, March 31, 2010
I laughed when I saw these. I got about 30 of those cute flannel receiving blankets for my son at my baby shower. When I started cloth diapering, I just cut them up into squares and have been using them for baby wipes. They aren't perfectly square, but they are free, have cuter prints, and were a great way to actually use all those silly blankets!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Inexpensive Wipes, May 19, 2007
This review is from: OsoCozy Flannel unbleached Baby Wipes (Health and Beauty)
After a year of using this product: When I went to edit my rating, I could not change the stars... but I'd give them 3.5 stars now. These are still decent wipes, but they have not retained their softness and have a few 'pills' now. I definitely prefer the plain Gerber wash cloths now.

My original review: I have these in rotation with Gerber wash cloths, but the All Together brand wipes are my favorite. I keep them moist in a wipe warmer, so they're ready to go when needed. They are soft and thin... perfect for cleaning all the nooks of baby's bottom!

5.0 out of 5 stars One year and going strong - great wipes!, August 19, 2011

This review is from: OsoCozy Flannel unbleached Baby Wipes (Health and Beauty)
We have been using these wipes for about a year now and don't have any complaints. They didn't shrink much upon first wash. The stitching is still strong after one year (I think we have only had one little string we have had to cut off). How you use the wipes, what the solution is, and how you clean and dry them WILL make a difference...it has nothing to do with the wipe, it's how you use them!
Some things we have learned:
- Putting the wipes in a container with your wipe solution and ringing them out just before use has been best for us - no absorption issues that way (we use hot water, a natural and scent/dye free liquid soap, and a little bit of oil - we prefer the oil vs. no oil because it seems to wipe smoother and easier)
- Make sure you change your wipe solution out at least once a week or else you may run into a myriad of issues (mold, stiffness, etc.)
- If you use baby oil or essential oils in your wipe solution, it may decrease absorption (same with cloth diapers)
- If you line dry, the wipes do get "crunchy" or rough over time. We simply throw them in the dryer about once a month and they are nice and fluffy again (same goes for many cloth diapers)
- When line drying, we give them a snap before hanging and that helps keep them straight/flat - we have never had an issue with folding or curling

The wipes have worked great for travel for us as well. We put them in a wipe sized wet bag, rung out but not completely. Overall, the wipes have been great, and you can't beat the price. Most of these tips will be the same for any kind of cloth wipe. Don't hate on the wipe...learn proper usage and care!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect., December 8, 2007

These wipes are perfect for making your own wipe mixture and avoiding chemical on your baby's skin. And sooo much more cost effective. I had thrown away hundreds of disposable wipes before I got these and they are just as soft. They don't "slide" as easily unless you get your soap/oil/water mixture right, that takes some experimenting. I just wash them along with the cloth diapers and then drop them back in a disposable wipe container filled with my soapy mixture, easy as pie. Unbleached is a plus too: no bleaching chemicals and stains don't show up as easily. Sunlight takes care of stubborn stains.

5.0 out of 5 stars A comparison of 3 kinds, October 4, 2011

I am one of those people who has to try one of everything. I have the Thirsties 6 Pack Fab Wipes, Boy, the Imported Flannel Wipes 15 pack - All unbleached, and some two sided 100% cotton terry cloth wipes from Green Mountain Diapers. In my opinion they all have pros and cons it really just depends what you are looking for.
The Thirsties are by far the softest, even after washing in our very hard water. After a couple months the colors have stayed well and they are the cutest. I like the two sides, the longer side is great for getting bulk and the other side is very soft and gets anything that's left behind. They are the largest but fit ok (about 12) in my Prince Lionhart warmer if they are folded in half. They do kind of stick together so pulling one out one handed is more difficult. If you want something really soft and cute, go with these.
The flannel wipes are the most cost-effective option. They are thin and sometimes require a little bit more scrubbing to get sticky messes clean. They are pretty soft also. The best thing about this is you don't have to worry about running out of wipes in the middle of a diaper change. You can fit at least 30 wipes folded in half in a warmer. They are also wash cloth size so they cover your hand well and I like that I don't have to worry about using too many wipes. So if you're looking for cost effective and ease of use I would go with these.
The 100% cotton wipes are nice because they clean messes really well and they are fit to go into a warmer, so I don't have to do any fancy acrobatics to unfold anything. These are the least soft of the 3 and even though they aren't folded they take up a lot of room in the warmer and don't fit perfectly (the edges come up). They say they are two sided but I don't like using the smooth side at all, it doesn't seem to have much use to me. They are also smaller and so I usually have to use more and I end up with stuff on my hands more often than with the others. If you like 100% cotton these would be an ok choice but honestly I would probably go with Under The Nile Organic Cotton Baby Wipes - 6 Pack which sound like they're softer.

The flannel baby wipes were a purchase for my newborn. They are soft and work well for the newborn but are not thick enough for my older 2 in diapers.
I was a bit disappointed when I first saw them. They are very thin. Previously I ordered 2 different kinds of washable wipes from punkinbutt.com and received a much better quality wipe.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Good If Wet Or Washed, March 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: OsoCozy Flannel unbleached Baby Wipes (Health and Beauty)
I'm giving these wipes 2 stars only because if you'd like to use them dry, they're very soft and a great price. I use them as baby wipes as my son is allergic to any other prepackaged baby wipes with the exception of the Earth's Best. Those are expensive so, I only use them when out of the house and I use wash cloths at home. At first glance, I LOVED these wipes as they SEEM super soft. After wetting them, they change IMMENSELY. They get even worse after being washed. I had to stop using them every day as they were rubbing my son's little bottom raw. In addition to all of that, after only 4 washes about half of them are falling apart. So, if you're desperate for some filler wipes then go ahead although, I wouldn't suggest them for every day use on baby skin.
