Product Description

OsoCozy Flat Cloth Diapers – 6 Pack (Bleached/White) - These old fashion nappies are made of soft 100% cotton and are a Birdseye weave. Birdseye weave can be seen by looking closely at the diaper where you will see a diamond shaped weave pattern in the material. This tightly woven material provides superior durability and absorbency. Each diaper is 27 by 27" prior to wash and is one layer thick. Each OsoCozy flat diaper weighs 2.6 ounces which is 25-30% heavier and thus more absorbent than other brands. The material is also much softer than you find in other brands. These are truly a step up in quality for reusable flat diapers. The Unbleached version which is also available is even softer than the bleached version. These are the original cloth diaper still used in many countries. These are a one size fits all diaper that requires folding to properly fit baby. They can be folded to fit babies between 6 and 30 pounds. They can be doubled for use on older children for additional absorbency. Used with pins and plastic pants or with diaper covers or as inserts in pocket diapers. If you have the patience and are willing to do a little bit of folding, then using these diapers will be far and away the least expensive way to comfortably diaper your baby. Each package comes with folding and washing instructions in both English and Spanish. Because these diapers are only one layer thick they are easy to clean and dry quickly on your cloths line or in your dryer. As with any reusable cloth diaper these are an ecological friendly alternative to disposable diapers. This diapers also great for a number of additional purposes such as dish towels, burp cloths , lap pads, changing pads, bibs, wash cloths and baby wipes. These lint free diapers are also used as optical cleaning cloths, CD & record cleaning cloths, for shoe shine polishing rags and for general purpose cleaning and polishing rags.

So, no more towels for him, it's the OsoCozy diapers from now on.
Sheila
The fabric is very rough and scratchy, they pilled badly, and the edges began unravelling after the first washing.
Jay Herrera
There was nothing in the store locally I could find that had good quality.

I first purchased Gerber's flat fold diapers (a huge disappointment). OsoCozy's diapers are made of a thick (but not too much) birdseye weave. They are significantly higher quality and perform well. I've found them to be very absorbent and soft. The edges are folded over twice and sewn rather than surged which may be an advantage to some, but are the only reason for my four star rating instead of five. These seams create a lot of bulk in areas with certain folds--especially the origami where all the edges pile up along the back.

These diapers were bought as a gift. They are wonderful. Thick, strongly woven birdseye flat diapers that can be folded in every way possible for a perfect fit. These are leaps and bounds ahead of any of the birdseye diapers available in chain stores. Perfect for diapering when fast drying diapers are needed, great for multiple uses like burp cloths, towels for a newborn, covering a changing pad, etc. If you are looking for an awesome product at a very reasonable price, buy these diapers.

I do not use these as an actual cloth diaper. My son basically uses them for a blanket. We used to use cloth diapers for a burper cloth. He got into the habit of holding it as his security blanket. We used to use Gerber diapers which are horrible in quality. The Gerber diapers you can basically see through and they roll up on the ends making the actual diaper small. They also get a lot of holes because they are so thin. I also tried the Carter cloth diapers and they are even thinner then the Gerber ones. There was nothing in the store locally I could find that had good quality. Went I searched online I only found Gerber diapers and this brand I never heard of before. I was searching for something that was better in quality and bigger in size, so I gave these a try. These cloth diapers stay flat even after you wash them and they have a very nice heavy weight to them. They are not the thick double ply diapers. These are the 1 ply diapers. I was very impressed with the quality of these flat diapers. I am not sure what you would base the quality of this item if you actually want to use them as a cloth diaper, but they are wonderful. I am going to slowly toss the horrible Gerber diapers and replace them with this brand.

I purchased 2 packages of these to use as cloth diapers for my baby. I thought I would regret it but actually I prefer my flats to my prefolds because I can customize them to the shape of my baby, and because I get so MANY uses out of them. When it's hot, I use a (clean) diaper folded behind baby in the carseat and stroller. It soaks up his sweat and helps him stay cool. I also use it as a nursing cover or a blanket to keep him covered from the sun in the summer, and as a changing pad on the go. They are 1 layer of fabric so if you are not using a doubler/soaker, you must change them often, but at night I fold one up into a soaker and my heavy wetter is fine as long as I change him asap in the morning. These are very easy to wash and quick to dry, they don't take up much money or resources to maintain, it only takes a bit of trial and error to learn to fold them, but they are definitely worth the time! They do shrink an inch or so on each side, but you can kite fold them for a bigger baby. I line dry, and if you iron them afterwards they come out soft. I only wish I'd bought the unbleached instead because the stains wouldn't show as easily ;)

I love these for the kitchen. No lint! I use it for drying produce, draining grease from food and cleaning the countertops. I don't have any paper products in my kitchen and I love it. I use to go through 2-3 of papertowels a week. No babies around here but couldn't be without these diapers!

These flat bleached diapers make the perfect burp cloths! That is what I use them for! They are large and very absorbent, and bleachable, and sturdy. After six children, these are on my baby necessity list and I give them in my baby gift packages along with the other things I have learned are necessities! Have you ever seen some of the silly burp cloths sold in stores? Polyester terry cloth, the size of a maxi pad, and they don't absorb anything! Don't get them! Use these!

My son was born with an extemely sensitive bottom. I couldn't use diposable diapers, or wipes. He would rash out so bad it made me want to cry. A&D original cream and chamomile baths only helped to keep him from blistering, but didn't heal his bottom. I switched to cotton prefold diapers, but couldn't find a cover that worked. These flats were my life saver. I used a prefold and a flat over as a cover fastened with a snapi. It would still leak through a little, but it was worth it for his skin. His bottom healed and by 9 months old, he can use disposable diapers without any rash. I still use wash clothes and water for wipes at home, but I can use disposable wipes when we go out. For anyone who wants to potty train early - he was pooping and peeing on the potty at 6 months. One of the benefits of cloth. Now that I switched to disposables most of the time, he has forgotten.

My husband is bedridden, and I have to care for him every day. Of course I can't use these diapers for him, their for babies as far a size go, but I thought I would offer, for those looking for material like this, how I use them. Not only do they make a wonderful bib for his millions of crumbs, but they are perfect for when I bath him, and want something smaller than a huge towel to dry him off with. I often place one under him, when I do change him, to keep his bed nice and clean. I am new to the OsoCozy diapers, but I'm back today for more of them, because of the many ways I can use them, just keeps adding up day by day. I just washed my husbands hair, and the diaper saved the day, when I forgot his small towel. So, no more towels for him, it's the OsoCozy diapers from now on. My husband says they are really soft, and I even used one myself when I washed my own hair. I agree, they are soft. I'm sure they would make a very nice diaper for your baby, I used cloth diapers on my 4 children, and today if you find the right one, they are still great. The OsoCozy's are a very nice diaper. I know, because my husband and I both have tried them. You won't regret trying them yourself.
