Product Description

OsoCozy Flat Cloth Diapers – 6 Pack (Unbleached) - These old fashion nappies are made of soft 100% cotton and are a Birdseye weave. Birdseye weave can be seen by looking closely at the diaper where you will see a diamond shaped weave pattern in the material. This tightly woven material provides superior durability and absorbency. Each diaper is 27 by 27" prior to wash and is one layer thick. Each OsoCozy flat diaper weighs 2.6 ounces which is 25-30% heavier and thus more absorbent than other brands. The material is also much softer than you find in other brands. These are truly a step up in quality for reusable flat diapers. The unbleached fabric of these diapers is even softer than the bleached white version which is also available. These are the original cloth diaper still used in many countries. These are a one size fits all diaper that requires folding to properly fit baby. They can be folded to fit babies between 6 and 30 pounds. They can be doubled for use on older children for additional absorbency. Used with pins and plastic pants or with diaper covers or as inserts in pocket diapers. If you have the patience and are willing to do a little bit of folding, then using these diapers will be far and away the least expensive way to comfortably diaper your baby. Each package comes with folding and washing instructions in both English and Spanish. Because these diapers are only one layer thick they are easy to clean and dry quickly on your cloths line or in your dryer. As with any reusable cloth diaper these are an ecological friendly alternative to disposable diapers. This diapers also great for a number of additional purposes such as dish towels, burp cloths , lap pads, changing pads, bibs, wash cloths and baby wipes. These lint free diapers are also used as optical cleaning cloths, CD & record cleaning cloths, for shoe shine polishing rags and for general purpose cleaning and polishing rags.

They are very soft and absorbant.

These flats are nice enough right out if the package, but when the shrink they don't stay square which makes folding difficult.

We use these as burp clothes and we love them.

I use flats almost exclusively. I bought these back in January, my first brand-new "real" flats (protip: receiving blankets are a fantastic alternative) other than Gerber flats.

Out of the package, they're nice and crisp, obviously thicker than the Gerbers. Prep is easy--boiling them works well. You can also partially prep them by just washing once or twice, and they'll work just fine, but not be as soft as after multiple washes (but you're going to wash them often anyway, so they'll catch up). They're a very good size (my only quibble with Gerber flats is their small size) and will last through toddlerhood and probably several children, as cloth diapers are meant to.

As all flat diapers, they're multipurpose. They make good baby towels and puke wipers and impromptu light blankets and peek-a-boo cloths when clean; my older girls steal them for use as capes.

They hardly shrink at all. My only quibble, in fact, is that though they've shrunk less than an inch, they've managed to shrink out of the square shape they were when they came. I think that's due to how two of the edges have a different hem. It's a tiny difference, though, and so a very minor complaint.

First, since these are unbleached flats, they have to be washed 4-5 times before using to remove all the oils. I boiled them on the stove for 20 minutes and then washed once. This works just as well. So far, I've used them in the oragami fold, and can make it 2.5 hours with no leaks. They've also contained breastfed baby poo, which is super runny. It didn't even get on the cover! For overnight, I folded it and used in my pocket diaper with a hemp insert, and we had 0 leaks after 10 hours. They're super trim and work great with a cover under tighter fitting pants! I bought a dozen, and plan to get more ASAP!!!

First, I love that these are unbleached. They are softer than my bleached ones and I have a feeling they will last longer too. I bought these as an emergency preparedness diaper (in case I ever have to hand wash) but it's making its way into my regular stash! I was surprised at how absorbent one flat is. I have a habit of changing every two hours and each time I changed the flat was only about halfway wet. I fold them in quarters, then in half and lay in an econobum cover...I never ever thought I would say this but it's as trim as a disposable! Or if not, it's darn close. I had to snap the cover smaller since it's so trim! I will try this overnight soon...I may be able to get away with double stuffing but if I have to do more it will still be trimmer than our current solution!

I will buy more of these once I am able to. I am so surprised at how much I like these!

We use these as burp cloths for our 3 month old son who has reflux. I like how absorbent and large they are. I recommended these for anyone who has a baby who spits up a lot and wants to try and save their own clothes while burping!

I used them for cloth diapering. They would also work great for burp cloths. I have washed them many times and they have not started to fray like other brands I have purchased. I just fold them up and place them in my covers, I don't pin them around my baby, they work super.
I started out with the AIO (all in one) style cloth diapers and was disappointed with all the complicated washing instructions to preserve them and get them to smell clean. These OsoCozy flats I put in my diaper covers and when they are dirty I wash them in hot water and whatever detergent I decide to use. I've had no bad odors after being washed. I've been using cloth diapers for 9 months and just the flats for two months. I also purchased more and would highly recommend them.

For overnight I fold 2 diapers together in the origami fold, snappi, and cover with a Thirsties Diaper cover. We have never had a leak and our daughter sleeps 10-13 hours. These diapers are plenty big for our 7 month old (14 pounds). Also, love the flat fold because they dry so quickly.

This is my pet peeve - every single time I use these diapers, I am annoyed by their lack of symmetry. It makes certain insert-folds rather difficult. I cloth diaper daily, but use these only when I run out of my preferred flats (tea towels from Target :)).
