Stow straps let you affix mountaineering tools such as ice axes or trekking poles.
With the Aura Series of women's packs, gear maker Osprey sought to redefine expectations about weight, ventilation, and comfort. As a result, a redesigned AirSpeed suspension system now provides a customized fit, with fully adjustable torso length, interchangeable harnesses, and adjustable hipbelt fit. Durable materials, meanwhile, include 210-denier twill nylon and 100-denier mini-ripstop nylon for long-lasting use.

The Aura 65 brings a ventilated mesh back panel with side crescent to mulit-day backpacking. A comfortable waffle foam harness and hipbelt provides a custom fit, while AirSpeed suspension ensures an optimal carry experience, even when the pack's fully packed.

Features

  • Adjustable harness: The torso-adjustable, interchangeable shoulder harness allows three inches of adjustment for a fine-tuned fit, while using a new pad design, spacer mesh, and ventilated foam for breathable, supportive cushioning.
  • AirSpeed suspension: AirSpeed suspension with LightWire frame and 3D tensioned, breathable mesh back panel optimizes pack balance, ventilation, and support.
  • Fit-On-The-Fly hipbelt: The new Fit-On-The-Fly hipbelt design uses dual density foam for improved support, and spacer mesh for breathability. The exclusive adjustment system allows the belt to be custom fitted with a six-inch total adjustment range while wearing the pack.
  • Hydration sleeve: All Atmos Series packs are hydration compatible, with tube exit ports on both sides of the pack.
  • Removable sleeping pad straps: Removable sleeping pad straps add a level of performance versatility.
  • Removable top pocket: The floating top pocket with under-lid mesh pocket can be easily removed.
  • Tool attachment: Dual ice tool loops and bungee tool tie-offs let you lash mountaineering gear to the pack's exterior.
  • Vertical zip pocket: Dual vertical zip front pockets allow for easy gear organization.
  • Sleeping bag compartment: A zippered sleeping bag compartment with removable divider keeps your bag protected and accessible.

The torso adjustable interchangeable shoulder harness allows three inches of fine-tuning for a comfortable, custom fit.

All women should get this pack! Tons of pockets, lots of room. The suspension is amazing! Molds to your body! Downside does not come with rain fly.

Love the shape and support of this pack. The only problem with the shape is that you can not utilise the entire 65 L. I could only fit in this pack the same amout of stuff that would fit in a standard shape 50L pack.

I tried several backpacks for camping and hiking, this was e most comfortable (5'3"-114 pounds). After 5 days of hiking and backpacking, I love it even more. For the first time my back and shoulders stayed in good shape. The pack is efficient and smartly designed with lots of pockets, clips et. I just wish Osprey would come up with a similar design to include some camera gear...that would be awesome!!

I like this pack overall, mainly because it fits my hips great and doesn't sit on top of my bubble butt like other packs do. The shoulder straps are really narrow and rub either side of my neck though, but I'm hoping I can switch the shoulder straps with a different osprey shoulder strap since they are interchangeable. The main problem is the bag I received, which had all new tags and was wrapped in plastic from the factory- had what looks like machine grease stains all over the front and back of the bag and some considerable fraying on the fabric of the rigid ends of the hipbelt like the bag had been dropped on the dirty ground at the factory and dragged across the floor. Trying to return it, finding a UPS drop off point, paying return shipping and insurance to send it back and waiting is not really worth it after paying a considerable sum already. Hopefully the Osprey company will live up to all the good things I've heard about them and fix the bag should the previous damages ever develop into a serious problem.

Great weight for the price, nice suspension and the mesh back keeps it cools. Highly recommended. Color is not quite as deep purple as soon on your screen, maybe a little more maroon like Texas A&M colors but still looks great.

This bag is great, extremely durable. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the color shown online is not even close to what is actually is and I really liked the color online so I was disappointed in the color that it actually is (which is kinda like a maroon). The fit is great, it is adjustable so it sits perfectly on your back and is easy to carry with a load.

Been looking for the perfect pack for me - female, 5'6", 135 lbs, average build. Needed a small size due to spine length, but the hip-belts are correspondingly small and the padded part always ended right at the tip of my hip bone. Not comfortable! However the hip belt on this pack is expandable - you can get an extra 6" out of it. Now it's a great fit. I like all of the bells and whistles Osprey worked into this pack while keeping the weight manageable. The only quibble I have is that the zipper on the top lid is only about 8" long, so it's kind of a pain when you need to put stuff in or rummage around in there. I use the top lid a lot, but perhaps others don't and so wouldn't mind. I don't think it's enough of a nuisance to pass up this pack and I still give it 5 stars
