5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the Perfect Daypack
I bought this bag to replace an old Eagle Creek pack that finally died after 15 years and four continents of abuse. I was originally looking at another Eagle Creek or a North Face pack. When I explained to the salesperson what I was looking for, she recommended I look at the Osprey packs if durability was a factor. So, I chose the Revo and I love it. It's small, but...

3.0 out of 5 stars A little small
I purchased this pack for day hiking in the mountains. It is well made and has ample pockets and storage for power bars, gps, phone, first aid kit, water and more. The only drawback for me is that I am large framed and it is a little small. Would be great for someone in the 5'-5" to 5'-8" and around 135-175 lbs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the Perfect Daypack, June 21, 2008

I bought this bag to replace an old Eagle Creek pack that finally died after 15 years and four continents of abuse. I was originally looking at another Eagle Creek or a North Face pack. When I explained to the salesperson what I was looking for, she recommended I look at the Osprey packs if durability was a factor. So, I chose the Revo and I love it. It's small, but is surprisingly voluminous when you start packing it. The outer pocket has a side-zip that allows access without completely removing it from your arm. The straps and back pad are incredibly comfortable after long periods of wear and I'm not sure how I got by without the little electronics pocket on the strap. I would have liked to see a bit more compartmentalization, but I don't have any real complaints in that area. It also has a pouch for a laptop, but there isn't much in the way of padding. This isn't a big deal for me as I don't carry a laptop everywhere I go, but it might matter to some. All in all, it's a hard pack to beat for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Functional Backpack, February 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a great backpack and its amazing how much it holds. I used it for a 3-week trip to Europe as my carry- on and also as a day pack for overnight trips to many cities. The outside pocket is great for a boarding pass. I am 5'2" and with the straps shortened it fit me comfortably without digging into my shoulders-even while carrying a full-sized lap-top. My husband who is 6'tall found it equally easy to manage by simply adjusting the shoulder strap length.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting a lightweight, well-constructed backpack. I am going to look at their luggage next!

5.0 out of 5 stars roomy and lightweight, September 16, 2010

I bought this backback for walking around in the city on a recent trip. It's very light but has plenty of space for small things like books, laptops and the like. It's a great little pack for short trips. The weight was important to me as I didn't want to carry around something big and bulky, but this is perfect.

It has two main compartments, one with a clip-in section for laptops and some slots for pens/pencils and other small items. The other has a zipper pouch. There are two side compartments for carrying other small things like cell phones, pill boxes, gum and the like.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding!, August 11, 2010

What can I say about this backpack other than making me: Fall in love with Osprey, and dump my idea of having new handbag totes as an option for luggage. The Osprey Revo (to me) has to be the cleanest looking backpack I have ever seen! Unlike The North Face, the fabric on this pack is soft yet stupediously durable. The front compartment has a large mesh pocket for smaller items like a caculator, GPS, Ipod; I use it for all my art supplies. In the main interior of the Osprey Revo, my sketch book fits perfectly in the laptop pocket, while my books, a sweater, and 2 small boses of pencils, erasers and sharpeners snuggle squarely inside. The MP3 hole found between the backpack straps is also a nice feature. Back support is also very comfortable (including the straps), because they're not gonna make you feel like you have two jumbo sponges in your shoulders.

Overall, this backpack is beautiful. I love it, and I think you'll love as well. And hey, the straps fits well both on the male and female torso, so boys and girls...get this backpack NOW!!! Whatevertoons commands you!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars adjustment strap slips, July 24, 2010
A Kid's Review
Nice bag. Only drawback is that the adjustment strap keeps slipping when trying to put on your back.

I needed a backpack to travel with instead of carrying my camera and etc. This is so comfortable, and my hands are free. Love the style too.
