This is a very nice 'large' duffle bag and I purchased the green one - I like to be able to see my bag right out of the conveyor belt. It has a separate shoe compartment (I put at least 5 pairs of shoes with heels in there and a couple of flip flops) and a side compartment where I put my 'liquid' products (shampoos, conditioner, liquid soap). I used this bag with my packing cubes and after putting in all my shoes (which did take up a good portion of the inner compartment) I was able to squeeze in one packing folder (15 inch Eagle Creek) 1 large eBag, 2 medium eBags, 3 small eBags, and a couple of books. This bag could've fit in more, but I was going over the 50lb TSA weight restriction. The zippers are very secure and you can add a lock for the front bottom compartment (my shoe compartment) and the main compartment. After fully packed, it was able to stand up just like in the photo and the large wheels make it easy for transporting. Great large duffle!

Handled 1st airline trip for skiing... holds lot's of "stuff" and when it couldn't hold any more, found more pockets... problem is can easily hold over 50lbs and airlines frown on that... wait that's not a problem, it's operator issues now isn't it.. hehe... hey, it's working great so far... good purchase..

Typical Osprey quality. This thing is big, so consider your needs carefully. The retractable handle malfunctioned -- wouldn't pull out -- after only a few uses. Apparently this is a known issue, and Osprey has a repair video on its website. It's a simple fix; no parts needed. We'll see how long the fix lasts ...

This is the kind of purchase you cannot often justify for yourself, but manage to give as a gift. That's what we did. We purchased one for our daughter and one for our son-in-law. It is so well-constructed, we worry about it getting stolen at the airport. This size is just right. If you pack it tight with clothes and shoes it will almost always come out under 50 pounds ... so you will be safe at the airport. And, because it's not too big, the airlines won't call it over-sized luggage. Vort

I used this bag for one trip so far, from DC to Peru, practically empty, but I bought it in anticipation of retiring back to the U.S. in a few months, when I'll need some quality, secure luggage of maximum size and ease of travel. The quality of the contruction meets my expectations, as I've always been impressed with Osprey. The lockable zippers are solid steel or alloy, in contrast to the flimsy zipper handles of the flashy Victorinox luggage set with the Swiss flag logo, which kept breaking off in my hand. And the bag material appears to be much more durable than the Victorinox, and will probably look better and cleaner for longer. I also bought the 28-incher, but I wish I'd bought two of these instead, as the smaller one isn't much bigger than an Osprey carry-on/backpack (a gem that I bought in 1999 and still use often, with no discernible wear). The straps, once the bag is compressed, don't have much of a secure tie-down and seem prone to flapping around if the bag isn't completely full. But I can't fault the design or construction of the overall bag. Top-quality. I highly recommend it.

I have had several Osprey Packs/suitcases. Choose any one to fit your personal needs and if there are ANY issues with the pack they will make good on the warrantee.

LOVE the personalized response and their 100% guarantees on the Osprey products. They answer the phone immediately and the price is worth it for the lifetime warranty.

Wonderfully built gigantic pack. You could fit a whole house in it and with Osprey's usual superb quality, the pack could actually handle it and still look sleek!

Durable and held up to two weeks in Scotland - in and out of trunks - up and down stairs. No issues at all.

This suitcase works especially well for long trips. Packing it is very easy and the bottom section works great for shoes or dirty clothes. The suitcase stands when full (or even very very full) and does not tip over. The padded handles all around the suitcase make loading it very easy. The wheels worked well on various surfaces. The straps secure the suitcase especially when it is packed very full and the material is very tough. The only negative thing is that it can hold so much you can go over the 50 pound limit airlines have. This, of course, is totally under the users control!! I would highly recommend this suitcase to anyone who needs to pack for longer trips.

I've been on the road with the osprey 4 weeks now and love all the pockets. The interior is massive and having trouble finding specific items. Next time I would pack in bags to put in large compartment for easier sorting and selection. Bag appears and feels strong, tows easily and stays upright when on end. It also will carry well over 50 lbs so need to weigh in. The compression straps are nice and the bag wraps up into a tidy bundle for traveling.
