The following is taken off the back cover of the book: If you are one of Britain's three and one half million anglers this book has much to offer you. This book, written by a master of the sport, is packed with advice on how and where to fish for Pike. It is illustrated with pictures including superb colour paintings. The author, Jim Gibbinson, writes regularly for the angling press, is angling correspondent for Kent Life, and has broadcast about angling on Radio Medway and Radio London. He has contributed specialist chapters to works of reference and has written "Be a Coarse Fisherman," as well as "Carp" and "Chub" in the Osprey Anglers series.
