I had tried 3 other back supports (some way more expensive and some less expensive) and this one is the best! I am less than 5' tall and most back supports are aimed at large men who do heavy lifting.This one is more geared to a woman who has hips, etc. I have a twisted spine and when gardening, dancing, exercising, etc., my muscles frequently lock up (causing sharp pains) because I have turned too much. This back support seems to eliminate that. I wear it for gardening, skating, dancing, and even at work ... because I sit alot there and used to have pain before the work day was over. I highly recommend it for anyone with similar back problems.

I just received this product yesterday. I have been having back pain for sometime and the pain in the lower back region seems to be getting worse. I have had back pains before so I know that I do not want surgery and I have opted to use a back support which I have on right now. I am pleased to acknowledge that the pain has lessen after one day's use. The sciatic nerve has flared up in the back of the right leg and the Ossur back support is working to minimize the pain. I love this product and definitely recommend it for anyone needing support in the lumbar region of the lower back.
