Book Description

0781766214 978-0781766210 March 15, 2007 1

Using the Recall Series question-and-answer format that has proven highly successful for medical students, this pocket-sized book provides a quick, concise review of the fundamentals of osteopathic medicine. The question-and-answer format will greatly assist readers in rapidly reviewing and recalling high-yield information for COMLEX examinations and hospital and office rotations.

Osteopathic Medicine Recall begins with the most basic concepts in osteopathic medicine, followed by a section on the axial and appendicular spine, the core of osteopathic medicine. Subsequent chapters present high-yield information on specific body areas and treatment modalities. References following each question direct readers to texts for in-depth explanations.

Editorial Reviews

Review

Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Nathan Hale, MS2 -- "I felt that the question-based format of the book made it a great review tool. It also made it easy to use in a group study setting. I particularly enjoyed the bookmark because it made it easy to cover up the answers while I read the questions. I have recommended this book to several classmates."

I purchased this book as a general review of OMT .It is very concise and easy to read. It offers only what you need and no more. I found it easy to navigate and pretty complete.
It is an above average pocket guide and excellent refresher.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for any Osteopathic Med student or nurse, July 1, 2007
This review is from: Osteopathic Medicine Recall (Recall Series) (Paperback)
This is the first "official" book by A. Mosier, but he has really been doing this for years....now it is available to everyone, thankfully...A. Mosier has taken the guess work out of what is important and what is not, this is an absolute must have from day one, it's just lucky for everyone else that he and Dai took the time to complete this collection....don't wait until there out again, because many have been waiting for quite some time.....

5.0 out of 5 stars First Amazon review for A Mosier's book, March 15, 2007
This review is from: Osteopathic Medicine Recall (Recall Series) (Paperback)
I purchased this book for a nursing student. I looked at the cover picture on the publisher's webpage. There wasn't much to go on (for me) to determine the benefits this book will give my recipient, but my hopes are that there will be resource material and topics for research. I invite any one's input, to how best this book will serve purpose to a Registered Nurse. Congratulations, Andrew, on your first book!
