Analyzed here are the risk factors involved in getting osteoporosis, how it can be detected, and what can be done to reduce or even halt bone loss. The authors contend that the process of risk reduction starts before birth and continues throughout life. Also included are a daily exercise program for managing osteoporosis and a list showing the calcium content of common foods. Recommended.
