Adequate toaster,

After reading reviews of dozens of toasters, we decide on this one. Its only failing, which we knew ahead of time, is that the carriage is low, even when in the full "up" position, so many times the finished toasted product is below the top of the toaster and must be extracted carefully by wooden tongs. Since we had read of this defect before purchasing, we expected it and are happy with the appliance.
