Yes. As long as the charger is plugged in the light is on. I've had the opener for 2 years and LOVE IT! Rarely needs charging. I leave opener in the cabinet with the wine glasses. It does not need to stay on the charger

I can use this opener with one hand by sitting in a chair and holding the bottle with my knees.

I've had mine for over 2 years and I always leave it on the charger. Still works perfectly and can still pull out even the most stubborn corks with ease.

On the adapter I see "input 120v ac 60hz 2.5w" - no mention of 240v and nothing on device itself. Hope that helps.

There are two power supplies, YL-35-060080D and YL-35-090080D. Mine, a Model 4207, is the YL-35-090080D which is a 9 VDC, 80 mA. I assume the YL-35-060080D must be a 6 VDC, 80 mA. Hence the model number with the 6 in it has a 6 VDC adapter and the model with the 9 in it has a 9 VDC adapter

I'm not sure since I can't find the paperwork, but I'm guessing it would at least be a year.

I had that same problem, but was like that when it arrived. There was no way for me to replace the battery as there isn't a battery compartment. I had to send it back and get another one. Luckily it had only been two days and was still under warranty. I have read quite a few people have this same problem, and ended up having to purchase another one. I am hoping this one lasts.
