First and foremost, this toaster produces evenly toasted bread and bagels as advertised. More modes than we'll likely need, but the extra settings are handy and the toast shade dial is easy enough to adjust. The look and style are what hooked us, and its limited footprint works well for our limited stove/counter space. This is the exact toaster that the yellow ticket Big Box brick and mortar store also sells for $5 more here in Houston (before tax), so with Amazon Prime this was a great deal. If there are any reliability issues, we'll make an addendum, but so far, so good.

Purchased the Oster 2 slice toaster, the one I was using just did not toast evenly on both sides. This product is small, easy to store, light to lift, looks good and most of all toast perfectly on both sides. It has 4 adjustments for bagel's, toast, warm, thaw. Also, a cancel button that lets you stop wherever you might be. I would recommend this to anyone.

I purchased this attractive little toaster a little more than a year ago. It worked really well with regular use, but just died this weekend. The elements will heat up but the toaster catch is broken and the lights no longer work. This toaster is pretty lightweight and inexpensive, but I expected it to last longer than a year.

Why is it so hard to make a toaster that makes toast?!? I bought this toaster after reading the great reviews. Maybe I got a rogue toaster, but it only toasts one side of the bread. I have to set the toaster on a light setting, let it pop up, turn the bread around and then toast the other side. Who needs another morning hassle? I usually get busy doing something else and the toast burns. This toaster toasts, but it's not a plug-and-play machine.

Got it today, plugged in, put bread ....smelled something, hit cancel button - SPARKED and dead. Other sites doesn't have very good reviews on this brand. Stay away....

Sleek design, feature-rich, does the job and a great value for the price--what's not to like? We didn't want to spend a fortune on a toaster. Looked at many before deciding this Oster 2-slice fit the bill for us. You certainly can pay much more if you'd like...but for a toaster?

I have had this toaster for about six months and I am very happy with it. I had previously owned the four slice Oster but found it inefficent because I seldom need four slices toasted. The bagel feature is nice and saves electricity because the heating elements on the middle of the toaster are the only ones used. Other nice features are the smart design and very even toasting.

Don't have to worry about burnt toast with this toaster! You have to crank the darkness knob to full and hit the "frozen" setting to get any brown color at all on a english muffin. The size of the slots is shorter and shallower than it should be. It will not take slice of rye in one shot. You have to flip it over to get the top side. It would probably work awful well on Wonder bread. It does look pretty great.
