Made in mexico of thin and cheap plastic. Not original quality of parts. Jar cracked after washing in the dishwasher 1st time. Had to throw away. Bought new Kitchen-Aid blender instead.

I had to replace the old one when someone left a spoon in it, then the blender was turned on. Uh oh! This one works fine. The blades are VERY sharp. Good for ice, frozen fruit. The lid is a hard plastic, not like the pliable rubber that originally came with the blender. But I use the original lid anyways, so it doesn't relly matter.

Not like the original,
This review is from: Oster Blender Glass Jar, Lid, Gasket, Cutter & Nut
I got my Oster blender from my parents, they got it in the 70's as a wedding gift. I wanted to replace the pieces but the plastic is much more cheap than the original and the top is a hard top instead of the old rubbery one. It gets the job done, but don't expect it to last like the original ones!
