This blender jar is lightweight and has an extra cup of volume compared with the glass one that it's replacing. I love it!

One thing, though, is that the picture doesn't reflect the actual product - it's just the jar, no cover is included. For me, that wasn't a problem because I still have the top from the glass jar it's replacing. But if you're in the market for a jar with a top, you'll have to buy the top separately.

Excellent product..fit right onto the original bottom. It is lightweight and I'm not concerned about breakage. I use it for my yogurt smoothies and it works just fine. The one I owned before was glass and broke on my granite counter. Delivery was quick as well.

Mine came with the lid and works great. I'm so glad I was able to find this -- the local stores told me replacements weren't available and tried to sell me a $100 Cuisinart new blender. I expect to have many years of use out of this blender pitcher/jar. My mother's Oster blender outlasted her need for it. Just don't grind spices or anything too hard in it or it will scratch and be ugly forever but still work just fine.

comes with a lid. way better than glass. it would have already suffered the fate of our first one if it were glass.
