I'm not a professional hair stylist, I just trim my head or beard. I got tired of the less expensive trimmers and wanted a more powerful and lasting clipper. The clipper itself is excellent - very powerful. It has two speeds and it mows down my hair with ease even on the low speed. It ships with a "000" blade which shaves closer than any other trimmer or clipper I've used. This product is rechargeable/cordless *capable* but comes with an electric cord which is 100~240V. You must get the optional battery pack & battery recharger for this to be truly rechargeable/cordless!

I purchased this product in order to be cordless for work. I cut men's hair all day and the cord is a pain. Apparently I did not read the ad correctly because I thought it was already cordless ready. But that's fine, it wasn't. When I called the company to order the charging stand, they no longer carried it. It seems nobody does. I made several attempts to get the stand with no luck. I searched the internet, called Oster...Nothing. The company, whatever jungle was rude and there are several bad reviews on them. I should have done my research before I made the purchase. I ended up buying the Andis and am totally satisfied. Why this company advertises it as cordless and or rechargeable, I don't know. When you buy it, it can only be used with the cord.

This product should be taken off your site and be aloud to be sold. You cannot get a replaceable battery or charger any where per the company and I think this is not accepable. AMazon needs to remove this product from there site. I am contacting Oster in Boca Raton , FL to see if we can get a replacement with a charger that is still made. Not the same as my old oster fully corded blade... Great as it can be converted to cordless with battery pack that is optional and recharger set. Wish the motor was more
powerful but not as the true corded ones from oster professional brand but as a cordless
nothing compares...
