I was very worried about these combs because of some reviews I've read about them not fitting the Oster Fast feed clipper, which I had purchased. The combs fit great, I assume the people who had problems couldn't figure out the mechanism - it's a spring-loaded clip and the springs can be a bit stiff at first. Just put the metal tabs on the back of the blade and press forward, they fit like a dream, and from what I can tell, universal is right, this design should work with any clippers. Very high quality, worth what I thought of as a high price for clipper combs.

These are very well made combs, and the spring-loaded *metal* attachment system is far superior to the traditional snap on plastic combs. I got this set for my Oster 76, and they work wonderfully.

I paid $20 for this set, and am glad I did.

After years of using cheaper, store-bought clippers, these combs (and the Oster Classic 76 I purchased with it) are excellent. The only thing that kept me from giving the set five stars is the lack of "tapered" combs for the left and right ear areas, which I've found helpful in the past.

I purchased the plastic blades/comb set with my Oster Classic 76. The plastic blades work ok, but I am going to upgrade up to the metal blades in the very near future. Fading with the stock metal blade which comes with the Oster Classic 76 works so much better than with the plastic comb set. The plastic comb set is ok in the interim, but my recommendation would be to save your money and buy the metal blades because eventually you will upgrade and buy them down the road.

It was unclear to me when I read the product description just how this set of combs managed to be "universal". They manage this by providing a sliding clasp connected to a spring to accommodate varying lengths of blades. I have a 20 year-old Oster razor and was a bit concerned about them fitting. They fit very well. The collection of attachments for the price is great.

These work great and made of the highest quality. They attach easily to the clipper. I use the Oster Classic, which I understand these are made for. I didnt get a bag or box with it and wish one was included. Oh well, buy with confidence. They are worth the little extra you pay.

These things work great. They firming attach to our Oster A5 clippers. I would definately buy them again.

I was about to buy a new clipper after the one my wife had been using on my son and me for twenty-five years wore out. I was reading the reviews of the Oster and realized that my wife's father's ancient Oster was the same one being praised for new sales. I bought the attachment and they fit the old one perfectly.

Maybe it should be under a review of the Oster, but her father was a barber who died in 1960 -- but his clipper still works perfectly.

The combs fit flawlessly to my mother's old Oster Golden A5 2 Speed Animal Clipper (78005-500-002) and are sturdy enough.

The combs are made of plastic and the spring and hook attachment are from steel (stainless, I think).

Great set of comb attachments complete with a carrying pouch. I home groom our Labradoodle and having several sizes of combs to clip different parts of her body is great. I like a shaggy crown and legs but a more trimmed body to keep her cool and I can accomplish all of this with these combs.
