I spent hours online reviewing toasters from different companies. I found you can buy a toaster for as little as $10.00 and some are over $400.00. I was more confused after my research so I decided to go with a brand name I have had great luck with - OSTER - the toaster does just what I want it to do. It toasts and toasts evenly. I love the frozen food button for my grandkid's toaster strudles and I use the bagel button to toast hamburger buns. I would recommend it to everyone.

It's a toaster. There is not a lot to it. This one is a great deal though, most of the toasters in the under 30 dollar range are garbage. I am in love with the bagel button, it toasts a bagel perfectly and the bagel button lights up with a blue LED. I looked around locally with a price limit of 25 dollars for toasters and only found a couple very cheap plastic looking ones in the stores for that price. I was thrilled to come home and find an attractive name brand toaster for under 25 with free shipping. I trust Oster not to burn my house down. They have been making small appliances for longer than I have been alive. I still unplug it when not in use though. Cord is very short, plan on it being situated directly in front of an outlet. Seems pretty well made although I wish the lever were metal instead of plastic. Not big deal though. Fit and finish is very nice and I am very happy I did not end up with an ugly white plastic toaster for the same money. Thanks amazon!

I know similar models to this have not had great reviews but so far this is a great little toaster. It toasts both sides of the toast fairly evenly and looks fabulous. We'll see how long it lasts. But I only paid $15 for my locally so if it dies, I buy another one.

I read other reviews that said it toasted evenly. Not really.
Small size great but limited opening for slices of bread. Great for bagels and sandwich rounds.
Like the style. Lighter/darker knob difficult to read.

I bought this because I wanted a small stainless steel toaster. It is not all that small (bigger than the previous toaster which died), and the front is a silver-colored plastic - ugly. Now I would feel wasteful getting rid of it, but it's ugly and too big for the counter space. Works fine.

The photo for this toaster makes it look like the toaster is two tones of stainless steal, it is not. The sides of the toaster are an ugly grey plastic and it looks cheap.

I wanted a small toaster to put away in the cupboard after use and this little toaster is amazing. Toasts perfectly and fits anywhere. Perfect for frozen waffles and pancakes.

it gives unleaven toasting with some of the heat lines not working!! and most of it is plastic that in pic looks like steel, i would give it a poor rateing and its going back, very disappointed!!!! What happened Bill Oster when you owned the co. it was better. drwill, Mass PS; it realy would get a 1- to 1.5

As far as I'm concerned no toaster can be small enough - they always seem to have a much bigger footprint on the countertops than I'd like to see- This is the smallest one I've found so far - and it does work nicely - no complaints there. It's also clean and simple and as far as silly details go - the blue light matches the rest of our stainless kitchen appliances (Samsung)

If I weren't obsessed with finding a appliances this would get a 5 star rating - if I learned there will never be a smaller toaster then again, this would get 5 stars. I don't want a bigger kitchen to hold bulky appliances I want smaller appliances with extreme efficiency! :-)

Not much to say about a 2 slice stainless steel toaster. This Oster looks superb on the kitchen counter and what a delight to find it on amazon.com for $10 less than target had these in stores.
