Osunlades musical lineage is unlike other "Underground heroes." His accolades go beyond the dancefloor anthems for which he is widely known. He has lent his production to some of soul musics most reputable new voices (India Arie, Musiq Soulchild, Vivian Green, Eric Benet), legends (Patti Labelle, Martha Wash, Freddie Jackson) and multi-platinum pop hits (Gerardos Rico Suave). These opportunities have rewarded Osunlade the freedom to focus his attention on his own label, Yoruba Records, and expand the scope of his own releases.
Watch from above as a dancefloor explodes to the chorus of Erros "Dont Change" or 4Heros "Hold It Down." His compositions, rich in detail are complete songs constructed to make people feel the bass, sing along, dance in peace and fall in love.

Yoruba,
This review is from: Osunlade Presents The Yoruba Soul Mixes (Audio CD)
Yoruba Sessions is a remix project by Osunlade on the always-solid K7 label. It features dancey vocal songs remixed. The cd reminds me of Victor Davies' self-titled record, which is highly recommended. Osunlade has good upbeat beats galore. It features an almost a Brazilian/electronica flavor to it. It's overall good stuff that'll make you happy when you pop it in the cd player.
