I've read every Annja Creed book before this one and am sorely dissapointed.. I know there are different Author's who write these books, but this Author got it all wrong. Annja isn't shy or boy crazy, she never backs down from a fight and she never lets a man take the lead to protect her. And she never leaves a friend in danger while sitting in a bar drinking a beer. Who was this!! It was so hard to read, I almost put it down on many occasions but forced myself to finish it. This Annja character was so out of character.. I pray the next Creed novels have the original Annja back.

I have bought and read all previous books of this series, and this one really, really sucks the big one. The author most certainly got it wrong.

I can't recognize this character or for that matter Roux or Garen as anyone from the previous books in the series.

This Anja was a body snatcher from planet Bimbo or something. I kept waiting for Anja to be ANJA, alas, it never happened.

Very disappointed....
