D. Hammond says:
This collection only consists of first party games, still Toejam and Earl and Revenge should be on there. Castle of Illusion should be on there too but they probably couldn't get the licence for it.

E. Turyna says:
Sega's Ethan Einhorn, who worked on this game, was on the Retronauts podcast at 1up.com discussing it. He said Sega doesn't have the license for Toejam and Earl and the other two Shinobi games couldn't be included because it would prevent a uniform release across all regions (one of the Shinobi games is banned in Germany). Phantasy Star 1 is an unlockable. I would have liked for the "Wonderboy in Monster World" Games to have been included.

I'd just be happy if they put Sonic R there. I mean, Sonic 3D Blast is there, so I dunno why they wouldnt put Sonic R.

I think they left Street Fighter and Mortal Combat out on purpose to lure people to buy them on PSN.

But I would love to see

NBA Jam
Road Rash
Super Tecmo Bowl III
California Games

Hopefully they will make a 2nd Edition and at least put NBA Jam on there, I still dont think theres been a BB game to match it since

I know this is wishful thinking for a Vol. 2 edition, but here's my two cents:

1. Toejam & Earl 1
2. Flashback
3. Rolling Thunder 2
4. Herzog Zwei
5. Road Rash (1,2,3)

Holy crap, how did I forget these...

1. Space Harrier(one of the hardest games of all-time)
2. Moonwalker(yes I said it, awesome game...terrible movie)
3. Shadow Dancer
4. Decap Attack
5. Outrun
6. Valis 3
7. Arcus Odyssey
8. Zany Golf
9. Biohazard Battle
10.Taz-Mania
11. Rambo 3

This is my list of the more obscure titles that most of you probably have't even played but they all memorable classics in my view.

C. Felder says:
I would like Chaotix to be on there, I heard how awesome the game was, yet not many people exposed to the 32x back in the day.

Moonwalker sucked...it was the worlds worst game. Control was horrible for that game.... and the premise....Michael Jackson saving kids? LOL yeah right....
If you dont remember how bad that game was watch some retro reviews on screw attack, AVGN has the best one of it....

Also unless i misread, decap attack is in it...

Only games made by Sega can be on a compilation like this.

Strider is the subject of a remake for the xbox 360 live arcade.

That doenst mean they cant pay for the other games to be on here.

I know you can't put other games on there, but they were games I loved as a kid and some I'd still play if I had nothing to do. Strider was already on the old compilation's anyhow and I always thought it was way overrated. Strider 2, the arcade one released on the PS1 was so much better than the old ones. Not too mention certain parts of the original had me throwing my controller against the wall.

Along with many of the titles already mentioned, I wish Aladdin was in this collection. I loved that game

Yeah, the genesis version was especially good. A great classic style platformer, almost like a disney version of perince of persia really.
