I am not a big reader of mysteries but I really love Mary McMullen. Her books are out-of-print and difficult to find but it is her writing that really draws me. I would love to live inside the world she creates in her books. Charming characters, beautiful locations, fairly good plots. I guess I would say, in a word, that it is the atmosphere that most charms me.
