A Hauntingly Beautiful Michel Legrand Film Score, September 7, 2008

After watching the Sidney Sheldon revenge flick The Other Side of Midnight with its romance, betrayal, beautiful locales and surprise ending, you can't help but be caught up in Michel Legrand's evocative and haunting music. The themes will repeat over and over in your head and you will want to listen to the plush orchestration and wistful solo piano over and over. What I hope for is a CD release of this score to provide relief from my scratchy, worn-out records.
