4.0 out of 5 stars Alison!
I love the song "When You Say Nothing At All!" It is a very romantic song and fits the movie great. I also like Danny & Carla's Theme cuz it best describes their times together. I suggest getting this CD to many people.

3.0 out of 5 stars Song at wedding reception
I think the song that someone was looking for at the wedding reception was Temptation by New Order. That was probably the best song in the movie and it wasn't included on the soundtrack.

4.0 out of 5 stars At Last - something from Joan Osborne, March 25, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Other Sister: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
I only bought this cd because Joan Osborne contributes. I was familiar with the "At Last" tune recorded by Etta James - but Joan's new interpretation was more than I bargained for - simply wonderful! Joan's voice is so strong and bluesy - I'll put this cd in, select the track for "At Last" and just leave it on repeat... If for any other reason, get this cd for Joan's classic "At Last."

5.0 out of 5 stars Set the repeat button, June 25, 2001
This review is from: The Other Sister: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
Great soundtrack! "The Animal Song" and "I'm Free" are fun; "Loving You is All I Need" and "When You Say Nothing at All" are so sweet and "At Last" is just beautiful! The whole album is wonderful, but these are the ones that stick out for me. I find myself setting the repeat option and listening to the album over and over again. These are great songs to sing along with and my husband and I dance to "When You Say Nothing at All" - we love that song! A bonus on this album is that Juliette Lewis sings "Come Rain or Come Shine." She does well, though she need not quit acting! Overall, a great soundtrack that brings back the feeling of the movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars At Last!, November 15, 2004
This review is from: The Other Sister: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
I haven't bought this CD yet but I have seen the movie several times and I love love love Joan Osbourne's version of "At Last".

Her version is better that the original Etta James. She chooses a different note for the fist "last" of the song and it is just so perfect. Etta's "last" is too flat.

Listen to the song, you'll see. I plan on buying this CD just for that one song along. That's how good it is!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool, July 21, 1999
This review is from: The Other Sister: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
I haven't purchased this album yet, but it looks awesome! The Animal Song, by Savage Garden, is one of the best songs I've ever heard. When You Say Nothing At All is my all time favorite song, and it is so ironic that it is on this soundtrack. The only other time I've heard it is on the Notting Hill soundtrack, sung my Ronan Keating.

By A Customer
This review is from: The Other Sister: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
I loved it! It is a great CD, especially the version of Come rain or come shine, Juliette has a beautiful voice. The movie was warm and funny with being real and moving at the same time. I loved the way the soundtrack tied the movie together.
