Hopeful and Interesting!,

This review is from: The Other Survivor:: Head Injury from a Wife's Perspective (Paperback)
An interesting story offering hope for the reader. You may be able to relate to the author if you or a loved one have experienced the dramatic changes that often occur when one sustains a traumatic brain injury. This book can help you make sense out of the confusion and get the appropriate help to manage your life and the life of your injured loved one.

This review is from: The Other Survivor:: Head Injury from a Wife's Perspective (Paperback)
I bought this book thinking it was just what I was looking for by reading the book description. However I am very disappointed in this book. It is a very short book and is printed in very large type. This book does not really tell how their lives changed. It tells more on trying to find a doctor who will listen to her. There is a very few sentences on how worker's comp is difficult to deal with. But as far as ways to cope with the changes that come after someone who has a head injury it is not there. When you have a spouse that has a head injury whether it was mild or sever there are many changes that take place in your daily life. This book just was not anything I would recommend to anyone who would want help on how to cope with everyday life after a head injury. Very disappointed with this purchase.
