Poor Design,

I had nothing but problems with this lamp. The vertical adjustment for the pole wasn't tight enough to hold up the heavy shade. And the weight of the shade was too much for the base and it was unstable. Needless to say the lamp fell over and we had glass everywhere. I would not recommend this model of OttLite. Good news is the store refunded my money.

Trouble Getting Replacement Bulb,

I would give this lamp a higher rating except that I am having a lot of trouble getting a replacement bulb. The movers broke the original one. I love the lamp, its design and useability. It is a very good reading lamp but not much good w/o a bulb. It seems difficult to get the right bulb on line and no stores seem to carry it.
