This is a crafting light that is bright enough to illuminate a large desk. It is used in scrapbooking and card making. It was delivered quickly and works well. It is easy to use and somewhat versatile.

I bought the lamp yesterday, plugged it in today, about 2 hours later I went to pick it up by the base, and it is really hot!While it is very adjustable and a very nice light quality, I am not used to the base where there should be no heat, becoming so hot so fast. Of course the light hood is hot, that is normal, but the base should just be a switch on and off, this should produce no heat. I will be taking in back, and am very sorry since it is a nice light to work by.
