Best case Period for Tilt 2,
This review is from: OtterBox Commuter Case for HTC Tilt 2 (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I bought it right from otterbox as i was on their mailing list for its release(I paid more than it is selling for on amazon now) I have had this case for about a month or so. Fits my Tilt 2 perfect. I do however have the 1 complaint of the power button being hard to push(Its considerably harder to push). You will never turn it on without knowing it(this might be good for some, but i find it very annoying, but bearable for the protection.
Until this case came out, I had the Seidio innocase and holster. The Otterbox case is WAY better as I have dropped it about 3 times with the Otterbox case on it with no issues. The silicone inner skin and outer hard shell give great protection. Also, the Seidio innocase broke on the top near the power button(a common review complaint about the Seidio case) in 1 week and I never dropped it. Seidio did offer me a new case, but this one came out and I never returned it. I also had the Praetorean crystal case and hated it. The level of protection is also inferior to the Otterbox. FYI....The Seidio Holster for the innocase ([...]) works flawlessly with this case on a Tilt 2. This I uses every day, am always on the speakerphone and never had an issue of muffling as the others review had stated. Overall in my opinion, for protection I give it 5 stars. Best case out there period

I bought the Tilt 2 earlier this year because I couldn't bear to give up the keyboard feature. I didn't realize at the time that there are very few accessories available for this phone. I can be rough on my phones, and I definitely needed a case, and specifically not a belt case. AT&T sells one hard case for this phone, and I went through 2 of them rather quickly because they just fell apart. I was a little nervous about buying this case sight unseen, but I am glad that I did.
Pros: Fits the phone perfectly. Solid/rugged construction, I'm not worried about breaking the phone or the case Has a cover for the power port. All the buttons and other features are accessible (with one exception, below). Fingerprint resistant. While not "stylish" the case looks nice and like it is part of the phone, rather than looking like cheap plastic. Cons: Adds weight and size, but less than any other case I've seen. Doesn't have a screen cover which is a minor issue in my opinion. There are a number of the sticky screen protectors that are available, which seem to work fine. The power/screen button is hard to push. The power button cover on the case is the same hard plastic as the case (the other button covers are soft rubber), and you have to press it very firmly to activate the button on the phone. If you don't want your screen to accidentally turn on this is probably good. However, I found it to be annoying, because I would have to push the button 2-3 times to get it to work. The button works by having a small plastic protrusion on the inside of the case that is supposed to hit the power button when the case button is pushed. The problem is that the little plastic protrusion isn't quite big enough. I ended up solving this but putting a very small amount of super glue on the protrusion on the inside of the case. I used just enough to build up the size of the plastic, and after it was dry I put the case back on and now it is much easier to push the power button. Overall I am very happy with this case and I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a case for this phone.

This is a very durable case, in fact, I have dropped it multiple times. Not a scratch or ding. The only problem I have with this case is that, it is very hard to push the power button with it. Other than that I love it.

Power Button Issue Solved,

Very happy with this case. Yes, the power button is difficult to push. I took a pair of pliers and gently bent the power button tab back and forth until it broke off. Now, I can access the power button. It's recessed, but even my short fingernail will reach it to turn it on/off. Recommend.

Otterbox for HTC Tilt2 - OK, But Could Be Better,

Works good, except does make the thickness greater to the extent that it would not fit into my holster. It was very difficult trying to find a holster that it would fit. Finally, made do with a double pistol magazine clip holder that I had to remove the plastic sleeve from.

This phone case is probably one of the best out. I used it for AT&T's HTC Tilt 2 and everything fit perfectly. The case looks very nice. One of the most attractive cases out there. The phone feels solid when sliding the keyboard(Thats a good thing. Makes phone feel secure). All the buttons are covered making the case look like part of the phone. Very little bulk is made due to the case which is also a plus. The phone looks better to me with the case on then without it.
Unfortunately, this case is not perfect. The back side has the company's logo "Otterbox" in kind of medium-sized letters but really it does not look bad at all. The case came with one screen protector, but I found it to be too small on the phone and ended up not even using it. The price is also pretty steep, but it seems like a good investment. The biggest drawback would have to be the power button which is covered. The cover comes with a designated spot to press power button but it does make it slightly harder to press it. You would either have to press it really hard or find the perfect spot.I am sure this can be fixed by putting a really small object in the power button port so its no bid deal. All the other buttons work fine as the buttons are covered with rubber. Overall this case is definitely worth getting. Going to buy Otterbox cases for every phone I get from now on.

Overall it is excellent, looks nice, protects the phone very very well. But there are some drawbacks. Mainly the power button is almost impossible to push with the case on, but all the others are actually easier, maybe an even trade. the screen protector that comes with it is alright, looks nice if you know what you're doing and feels nice to the bare finger (better then the Bodyguardz and InvisibleShield, they are too sticky/soft and feel strange) other than that, great product. probably paying more then you would for anything else just because it says "Otterbox" on it, but you do get what you pay for.

Using this case for last almost 6 months on my HTC Tilt2 (ST7377) and have been extremely satisfied with the product. It is robust, has protected my phone on few occasions when it fell. Keep in mind that the overall package,i.e. phone + case becomes a bit bulky; the Tilt2 in itself is a bit bulky phone. That does not bother me persnally but to some it may be an issue. All things considered, I have not had any issues about accessing any of the buttons on the phone. They work just fine 99.9% of times in the first attempt; sometimes you may have to press a bit harder than usual. Again, these things do not bother me. Overall, I found this product to be of great value in terms of price and performance. It protected my phone and I am able to use the phone and it's buttons very well.

OMG! I love my outerbox! My daughter likes to play with my phone. Well, she dropped it the other day and once I picked it up, both my phone and outerbox were in place free of cracks! A friend of mines daughter dropped her phone and craked her screen and back. (She did not have an outerbox) I was thinking lucky me, I'm glad I haave an outerbox on mines!
