Amazon Verified Purchase
I came from a Blackberry-- so it was a big change from the git go. I have had a number of cases and this one is very interesting in how it is assembled. Usually I would say to add a case around the whole phone would be cumbersome, but in this instance, it actually makes it easier to use the phone as it gives it some heft. With that said, it definitely will keep the phone from getting marks on it and if the case does, it is much cheaper than replacing the phone itself. The only improvement that I would like to see is in the belt clip and that is where I took away a star. Although it does work admirably, I have a Nite-Ize case for my Blackberry that is fantastic. The clip cannot come off your belt nor just your pants--- this Otterbox clip is just plain good. If it had something like that one--- I would give it 6-stars if I could.
As far as a better case? I don't know. If you like to show off your sleek and sexy new phone--- then this is not the case for you. If you desire to keep it in one piece and know that it is safe and secure 24/7--- then this is the one.
2/9-- I have been using the case since the day it arrived and one part that I have come to not like is the built in screen protector as it is not as transparent as it should be. I have a Steinheil Series Ultra Crystal screen protector installed and it is extremely clear and protects the screen, so with that said I popped my Otterbox off and removed their plastic screen protector (it is held in with a rubber cement type glue and comes off easily)--- without it.... it is THAT much better. The colors are correct and it no longer looks like I am looking through a dirty window. Also after using the clip, although it may not be as secure as the Nite-Ize it has proven to be good. So overall a 5-star product with a 3-star screen protector that is fortunately very easy to remove.
Lastly, for some reason when I use the speaker phone it causes some reverberation for the person on the other end of the line. During a call I actually took the case apart and the call for the person on the other end was much clearer. I may have to make sure that the ports line up 100% and go from there. For me it is not a big deal as I usually use an earpiece or through bluetooth in the car.

I was too eager to wait and purchase this from Amazon, so i bought it from AT&T and i regret it completely, not just for the price. I took the case off about a month ago and haven't put it back on since. The reason is because when I took it off to clean out the dust that accumulated behind the built-in screen protector, i noticed that my device had been scratched and scuffed on the edges, especially around the silver trim on our phone, kinda defeats the purpose of protecting the phone in the first place... I was very upset and swore that I will never buy an Otterbox product again. The best part is Otterbox has a clause in the warranty that it does not include damage to the device caused by their product, kinda weird that they would do that.
Also, the screen protector that is built in will trap some audio that comes through the speaker and will travel down the face of the phone to the microphone. This will cause the person on the other end to hear an echo of themselves. If you press the case up against your ear, the echo will go away. Personally, I didn't want to have to press it against my ear really hard to eliminate an echo.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I've been looking for an otterbox for my Husband's new phone but was looking for it a bit cheaper than it is in the stores (i.e. Best Buy). The case fits perfectly, was it it's original packaging. We couldn't have asked for better.
There was a bit of a snafu with usps and they lost our first shipment. The dealer sent an additional one out right away and said that if the other one was "found" and delivered to consider it a gift from them. What great customer service!
