A must have for Razr Maxx
on February 9, 2012
Bought this for my new Moto Razr Maxx. Very well made but the instructions on how to put it all together were shown in poorly executed photos on the inside of the box,in other words, useless.Otter does give a web address where better instructions are supposed to be available but I didn't need them. As for the box itself, it is made from fairly thick plastic and works well to protect my phone. The only other drawback is that when you have the box on your phone, it's too thick to fit in the desk or car cradles. I now have to charge my phone with a micro USB only. I guess I'll be returning my cradles to Verizon. The phone, already thin but wide, is made even more so by the addition of the Otterbox. I did not have a problem with this as I have very large hands and it actually improved the fit of the phone in my hand. The holster is well made and fits securely on the belt, also being able to swivel to new positions with a ratcheting mechanism on the back. The case has a nice rubberized shell surrounding the plastic case on 5 sides. The plastic that goes over the screen is well made and does not interfere with the touchscreen. If you put the case into the holster face-first, as I do, the phones face will be protected from scratches as you move through your daily routine. It took a few days to get comfortable and adept at removing the phone from the holster but with repeated use it does become easier. Overall I really like my Otterbox and would definately recommend it to anyone.
