great two part case. The Silicone shell covers the entire back of the phone. and provides the razed edges to protect the screen. The shell has flaps covering the 3.5mm jack, and the micro-USB, and -HDMI ports providing extra protection. It has raised rubber buttons for the power and volume, that are textured differently for easy diferintiation (great idea). And the hard plastic cover goes over the silicone shell covering the back, both sides, and most of the top, with a space for the flaps for the ports. The case fits really tight, and doesn't add too much size/weight to the phone. It even comes with a screen protector to put on before putting the case on.

I would reccommend this case to anyone with a DroidRazr. Otterbox is the best.

Overall this case is a great choice to protect your Razr. It is like any Commuter series case with inner rubber case with hard plastic shell. The one negative I give the case is that it is not the easiest to put on like an iPhone commuter case. Once you adjust to putting the case on and off you will have no issues.

I see complaints about the case being slick. Well if you pay attention to the Commuter series you will KNOW that they all have a hard outer shell that is, of course, going to be slick when placed on a surface. If you place the phone face down the rubber inner case will grab onto the surface you are laying it on. This is how the commuter series is built. There will always be ways someone can improve upon a case and that is why there will be other options the longer the phone is out.

Overall this case is well worth the price offered on Amazon! Protects your phone very well and even comes with a screen protector. You will not be disappointed IF you KNOW what you are getting with this case. I prefer the Commuter over the Defender on my Razr as well as my iPhone!

The case comes in three parts, an outer polycarbonate shell (hard), an inner silicon sleeve and a screen protector. The case fits well however it is tight fit putting the phone/inner sleeve into the shell. All pass thru ports line up well and silicon flaps protects open ports. The screen protector does not distract from the screen sensitivity.

The case adds 3/16" to both the width and thickness of the phone and 15/64" to the length. I would not class the case as slippery but it is hard plastic. Just lay the phone down with the screen down and the case will keep it from sliding - the silicon and hard case protect the screen as well. The only fault with the case is that the phone in the case will not fit into the HD Dock properly.
