OtterBox Reflex Series for the Apple iPad 2

I just wanted to comment on using a screen protector. I have a Zagg invisibleShield and had no problems using this case with the screen protector. I slid the case on slowly and made sure the sides were going on evenly and I had no issues.

I'm sure that's what you are wondering. I went with reflex and I'll tell you this. Unless you plan on dropping it from a two story building,or throwing it across a room, this case will work just fine. It has two parts: The case that hugs the ipad and the screen protector. I'll start with the case. It is built to fit perfect. No excess space and it doesn't move around. It is small so it keeps the sleek ipad design. However, it still has the required protection. It feels really strong, and you will notice straight out of the case. Check out youtube and the otterbox website for videos

As for the screen protector. I love that it can turn into a stand for typing or viewing! That means you don't have to buy extra stuff. The even better part is, it protects the ipad. I understand having to put it on and off can be a pain, but if you're like me and go to college, and always moving around, it is great. It wont' get scratched in your backpack, and it gives overall protection.

If you're planning on protecting your ipad from everyday harm: Recommended
If you're planning on playing football with your ipad: You may want to go with the defender series.,

When informed I was receiving the new Otterbox Reflex case for the iPad 2, I was skeptical that they could improve on an already superb product - the Otterbox Defender. Was I in for a surprise!

The Reflex is a totally new design that is perfect for the iPad 2 owner who doesn't need the extremely rugged protection of the Otterbox iPad 2 Defender Case - Black NEWEST MODEL, but does want protection for everyday use.

What sets the Reflex case apart from other cases is its design. Yes, it's sleek, lightweight, and stylish; but more unique is the sound port openings on the case. The openings are designed to direct the sound up and around to the front of the case, resulting in a louder, clearer and more robust sound from the iPad. It's genius! I've not seen this feature on any other case that I've reviewed. Other manufacturers should take a lesson from Otterbox. This is a 5+ feature!

The Reflex is easy to install and features a built-in stand with both a vertical and horizontal slant.

Although the Reflex doesn't have the rugged protection of the Defender, this case is protective enough for everyday, indoor use. Otterbox has a good name for a good reason. It's not just the design; the cases are also extremely well made. This case is comfortable and gives you the confidence that it will hold up for a long time.

The bottom line: If you need a lot of protection, get the Defender. But if you require normal, everyday use protection, you can't beat the unique design of the Otterbox Reflex.
