Easy to Understand
I used this book with my first three to explain what pregnancy is, and it worked wonderfully! All three would rub my tummy when they got to the last page and say "baby". I recommend this book for all expecting mothers with children. Even children over 5 will enjoy this book.

OK book
I bought this trying to prepare my daughter for a sibling, but didn't find it truly helpful. She liked looking at the pictures of other animal babies... but I don't think any real baby-big sister connections were made as a result of the book.

I purchased this and several other books to prepare my 4 year old for the arrival of his little brother. I'm not sure if it was this book or the combination of all of them, but we have had no problems with the acceptance of our new addition. The new baby is now 6 months and his BIG brother is 5-1/2 and he still gets this book out for me to read to him at bedtime.
