A great book on more than just boots,

This review is from: Our Boots: An Inuit Women's Art (Paperback)
This is a great addition to anyone who collects books on native art, history or life in the arctic. The photos are outstanding and the details behind the history of boot making of natives will be of interest to anyone from anthropologists to human geographers.

I am beyond thrilled with this book. It is a real 'find' and for such a bargain price. I am an avid Mukluk fan, but of the traditional construction and native designs. The photos of the People, as well as the boots...sigh, I am left speechless....and inspired. I am in process of constructing a 'personal' pair of 'my version' of these footwear and will add this book to my permanent library shelf.....an archeological treasure.
