Excellent book for someone going through the RCIA program or others investigating the Catholic Faith. It is very easy to understand and provides the basic. It is by no means the complete doctrine of the Catholic Faith but gives enough information in my opinion as to whether one would wish to pursue the Catholic Faith in greater depth. It is also a good review for those who may already embrace the Catholic Faith. One must bear in mind however, it is written more for a high school student. But I found it very informative as a quick refresher text and I have been a Catholic all my life.

This book is a fine instruction on the Catholic faith. It would be much greater coming from a priest rather than a book. I have yet to find such a priest, it's left to the laity.

This is a very basic Catholic book. I really enjoyed how the text, when introducing new terms or info, reviews the background of the new vocabulary. My daughter is using this book for her religion class in high school, and it does not seem to be anything she did not learn already. However, I am sure that she will get some good review.

I am very displeased at the fact that they debited my account before the item has been shipped.

I was raised Catholic, and I bought this book for my husband who was thinking to convert to Catholicism. Afterward, I started reading the Bible for myself and realized what a deceptive religion Catholicism is. The Catholic church teaches that traditions of men are equal in authority to the Bible. In many instances, Catholic doctrine contradicts the Bible outright. It teaches that Jesus' death on the cross was not sufficient to save us from our sins, but that we must do things to earn salvation. This is completely contrary to the true Gospel of the Bible which teaches that FAITH alone in Jesus ALONE is the key to salvation. If we could earn salvation through good works, than Jesus didn't have to die on the cross. Some argue that Catholicism is a valid form of Christianity because it does contain some truth along with some lies. But Catholicism is like rat poison. The latter is 95% protein and 5% arsenic. That 5% will KILL YOU. The teachings and doctrines of the Catholic church lead people away from salvation. Please read the bible for yourself and find the truth. Jesus is the WAY, the Truth, and the LIFE. No one gets to the Father, but by HIM. [...]
