We have worn out our tape! We would love to find this title on CD. Our children listened to this tape daily and knew all of the songs. They still sing them, even though the tape broke over a year ago!

I bought this CD for my first nephew YEARS ago and wore out NUMEROUS tapes listening to it myself in my car... NOW I have two children of my OWN (!!) and am sitting in my living room BEAMING while going through it with them!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE re-release this so others can enjoy it as much as we do (and so my sister can have her copy back!! hehe)

This was not the CD I wanted. Apparently there are two "For the Children" albums. I wanted the original one and I got a newer version, which has different songs. I have searched the site over and over and cannot find out how to order the original one.

The disney version of the For Our Children is not the one being mentioned throughout the reviews. Paul McCartney and James Taylor are NOT on the disney disc, which includes Bobby McFerrin's Wizard of Oz and Kris Kross singing Here we go loopty loo. The Pediatric Aids Foundations cds are different compilations altogether.

I purchased this CD about 18 years ago for my daughters. It only came in a cassette back then. I couldn't find it anywhere in my house and wanted it for my new Grandson. I searched everywhere and found it on Amazon. It is an awesome CD, with great artist's and great songs, plus the proceeds go to an amazing cause. I am so glad I was able to buy another one. My grandson and I dance to it all the time and play it in the car as well. Thank you.

For the Children was a favorite of mine when my children were young. They were introduced to some classic musicians and good music for children. Now, my daughter is playing it for her son and he will be able to rock, sing and go to sleep listening to these classic children's songs, sung by popular musicians of his grandmother's era.

This was exactly the one that my kids grew up with in the cassette tape version.
I was so glad to find it on CD. My grandkids love it!!!
