I mistakenly purchased this young reader's edition after blindly accepting it from the Border's clerk, who had not heard of VP Al Gore! This book is not as haunting as An Inconvenient Truth, which was a wake-up call. This one is the action plan. The brilliance of VP Gore's prose lies in the simplicity of the language. The language is upper grade school level, but the concept is boundless. The concept of global warming and its potential solutions can be so abstract when explained by most pedantic university professors. However Gore lays it out as if we could attack the problem foot forward, which is exactly what we have to during this administration

This is a Fantastic Read for young kids. Our daughter read it and really got it. It's Clear and concise. This should be required reading, IMO.

As you can see, I screwed up! Other than it taking a longgggg time to receive - it was ordered about two weeks before Christmas, did not get it until a week after Xmas, my friend is enjoying it - he jokes he thinks in retrospect that the "adult" version would not have been as easy to understand!!

Fantastic book! Simply explaining very complex issues which have been deliberately clouded by those who are opposed to the changes needed.

Great easy to understand book that introduces you to solutions to reduce effect of anthropogenic climate change. Don't be fooled by 1star commenters, they didn't read the book, only black listed because don't like AL Gore. Shame on you, and may God Bless and Keep You because your children and their children will not.

I thought it was a normal book, but being a young readers edition i was initially a bit miffed, then i took a look at the description and discovered it clearly written!
I am content with everything, A very efficient delivery period and would buy from the US again

Picked this book up for my daughter and she really enjoyed it.

She continues to be more aware of the consequences that we all face by continuing our wasteful and destructive lifestyles.

Some say climate chance is nonsense and man-made pollutions have nothing to do with it.....I say whether you agree or not, what does it hurt to try and make our world a cleaner, healthier place to live?


Great follow-up to An Inconvenient Truth.

In the face of recent scandals regarding the made up data concerning Global Warming, ALGore once again attempts to scare our children with his out of touch, far fetched ideas. Save a tree and don't bother with this drivel. If only we could give negative stars.

this book is a great book about things going on on this plant and we are to blame for it,we better act fast.thank you MR Al Gore for this great book. (Michel Madaire)
