Being a Christian my whole life, I've read some Bible stories over and over. However, the stories rewritten by Jim Laffoon put a whole new perspective on each character. There are so many life lessons to be learned and applied in our lives.

I have used many devotionals in my lifetime as a Christian. This one stands out as exceptional in its perspective and depth. Jim Laffoon nailed me so many times. This devotional helped me change erroneous attitudes and grow in my relationship with Christ. I highly recommend it. It's awesome!

This devotional is incredible! Pastor Jim Laffoon really knows how to bring the Bible to life and show us how we can apply it to our daily lives.

I started using this on January 1st since it is dated with 365 reading corresponding with dates from January 1st until the end of the year. It is a simple, basic devotional which starts in Genesis and proceeds through the whole Bible. The Bible (blog) part of the reading is written by what I take was or is a Pastor mentor of the newsboys and is solid based. Pastor Laffoon makes you think about characters in the scriptures with an application you may never have considered prior. One of The individual band members at that time-Peter, Phil, Duncan, Jeff contribute a short commentary at each reading's completion which really show you their hearts for God and can be touching and convicting. They take turns doing this and each is in the commentary on a rotation basis of 3 three months, taking one month at a time. Newsboys lovers, those interested in a basic devotional or even one to use with their kids would like this.

Love the Newsboys music, so I ordered this devotion book to use with our Youth group at church. The Newsboys comment on each devotion done by Pastor Jim Laffoon. Our youth group has enjoyed the devotions a lot!

I ordered that great book for a friend and was not sure if i should buy a used one not knowing how much it was used exactly. But the book came in perfect condition,like new actually. I was very happy!
