3 of 4 people found the following review helpful By Michael Kerner HALL OF FAMEVINE VOICE on December 8, 2011
It is so hard to think of how sad and shallow it was for Amy Winehouse to drink her life away, after being booed and heckled by her own fans after returning to the stage. Nevertheless, her death is one of the saddest tragedies in the music industry. Yet, she still is remembered for her voice and that spirit could've been showed better on Lioness: Hidden Treasures. But one of the better songs on the album is Our Day Will Come. The song is not bad, and one of the better songs from her posthumous release. It showed that no matter how heartbroken she was, she still let her voice speak well. It is just so sad that it really is one of the more decent songs from the album. It might've been a better release of Amy was alive today, yet it so sad that a gifted soul like her was gone too soon.

Need I say more? She does a great remake of this 60's song by Ruby and the Romantics. She successfully gives the song Europop charm. Wish she was still with us. :-(

This artist is resting in peace now but her tunes will ever be enjoyed. This is an old time great song of mine; I love the lyrics. If you have ever been in love you might enjoy this song and music.

I have heard many versions of this tune, but Ms. Winehouse brings the heartache and irony to such a hopeful song.

I love this song. No matter who sings it, I love the lyrics and I love the music as well. I often say that Amy Winehouse was a tremendous talent who left us far too soon. Listening to this wonderful song reminds me of her vocal gifts. For anyone that truly likes old school music, this song is a must to add to your playlist.
