I ordered this notebook to be used by myself and my parents. They have so many things in their house that are heirlooms. Some are obvious, others are not. Using Patsy's book we finally photographed special things and the stories that go with them. From the little box camera my grandmother used to take pictures in the 1920s, to the treadle sewing machine where she earned her living, to my mother's precious children's books, and the artifacts of my father's scientific career - we now have everything recorded! It will be easy to ensure that when precious heirlooms are passed on, their significance will go with them.

This is the book we have all been waiting for! The documentation pages are great outlines for details on all that "stuff" I cherish, including a place for a photo. The binder format is very helpful--I have already made duplicates of my finished pages to include with our insurance documents and related legal papers. Besides being well organized and helpful, this book is FUN!! Now my special darlings will understand why their auntie wanted them to have that old iron weathervane from the top of Grandpa's barn. There are no limits to its use--and for anyone who loves family history, this book inspires great storytelling--for today and many years to come.
