My biggest problem is that it assumes the record keeper is female. The book is organized for "Your Family", and "Your Husband's Family". All throughout the book, they do not consider the possiblity that the record keeper just may possibly be a man.
The book is quite thin, and I found it very quirky that it asks your family members to fill out a section entitled, "first paycheck". I gave up filling this book out, and tossed it.

This is a very simplified format to record a family lineage. Great for children or for those who don't want to include a lot of detail. Spaces are provided to write family names in titled areas on each sheet.

This book was purchased for a bride and groom and filled out by the respective families, leaving the blank pages for them to fill in their own memories and space for notation of future children.

No it is not comprehensive, but is a very nice way to combine families. Our newlyweds loved it as it is a written record of their new family.

A great gift, especially if you provide the information that young people may not know, such as their great-grandparents, whom the couple's parents will remember as their grandparents.

Simple family tree book. Great for children. Not too detailed. Not especially made for adults wanting to enter a lot of details. Great beginning book.
