I purchased this scooter for my daughter over a year ago. She has enjoyed playing with it and uses it for her American Girl dolls. The seat is a little bit awkward for the dolls to stay on, but the seatbelt helps. It is a very good value for the price and an excellent substitute for the "AG" pricier brand version. I love the American Girl product line, (and highly recommend the magazine) but some of their products are just priced too high. The "Our Generation" line offers a more reasonable substitute.

My daughter got this scooter from Santa this year and is really having fun playing with it. She likes putting the helmet on the dolls and teaching them to drive :)
I do wish that it had some working head lights, but she got a thrill when she discovered the storage compartment in the seat. The biggest bang for the buck in my opinion is that it gets her playing with her American Girl dolls instead of sitting them on the shelf.
I agree with the other reviewer about the Our Generation pricing vs American Girl.

My Daughter received this for Xmas and it has been fun with her American girl Doll, I agree with a previous review that it is a GREAT alternative to the highly priced American Girl similar accessories. I believe it is pretty durable, while the black handgrips pop out easily, it is not a hinderance. My 2 Year old plays with it a lot as well and he has not damaged it in anyway.

I bought this for my 9 year old who is really into American Girl dolls. She saw this in a Target store, but when we went back they no longer stocked them. I paid a little more on Amazon to get it,but she has really enjoyed it and has ridden her AG dolls, stuffed animals and even Barbies around on it. I am really glad I got this for her for Christmas. The Our Generation line of doll accessories is a nice,affordable alternative to the AG doll line.
