1.0 out of 5 stars Poor Graphics, Bad Controls.
I bought this game thinking it sounded fun, but it lacks a lot and has too many flaws. I love games where you get to have your own house, decorate, paint, do the flooring, just anything! Those are my FAVORITE types of games. So I was really excited to see this game, and thought it would be great.

I went ahead and got this game thinking it wouldnt' be that good. I am mostly into seek and find games or bewjewled type games. This game was actually pretty fun. You own a house and you want to fix up your house and advance so you look in the newspaper or make calls on your cell phone and find odd jobs that people need. Like tiling a floor or painting a ceiling. it tells you want to do. For example to pait the walls . You have a bunch of cans of paint, you take the colors and mix them together. Then it times you for 2 minutes and you take your roller and roll it onto the walls.. As you progress in the game the tasks get harder. When you complete a job you earn money. Once you earn enough money you can purchase things for your house. Example , Fridge, Stove, Couches etc. And then you can upgrade your items for better ones. And eventually you can buy newer and bigger houses... It's fun if you want a game to keep you occupied

On our house you get to make your own house. You go to the supply store and buy furniture, paint, wallpaper, and flooring. You even get to pick the house you want to work in. But, each house you pick wants different stuff in their house. Once you have everything you want\need for your house, you put the paint on the walls, the hard part is you have a timer. The timer always makes me mess up. You can put the furniture wherever you want. You put the flooring on the floor to. There is this one level where you have to put the flooring down and its a puzzle. This game is awesome!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not too shabby, October 24, 2010

Based on the description, I was really anxious to play this game. It's enjoyable and keeps me entertained for a little while. I find one of the mini-games has trouble reading the stylus and that detracts from the gameplay and is frustrating. After a half-hour or so, the frustration builds to the point that I want to switch games. I would make some changes to the overall game structure but all in all, a fun game.

Im 12 years old and have always found an interst in designing things. I enjoy being able to design homes and decorate my virtual home. This game is easy to learn and hard to put down. The goal of the game is to get to the mansion.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor Graphics, Bad Controls., December 30, 2010

I bought this game thinking it sounded fun, but it lacks a lot and has too many flaws. I love games where you get to have your own house, decorate, paint, do the flooring, just anything! Those are my FAVORITE types of games. So I was really excited to see this game, and thought it would be great.

The problem is this: No matter how much you LOVE decorating games, LOVE placing furniture, painting, making your own virtual house... it means nothing if the graphics are terrible and the house looks like a "base house" with no detail. There is NO DETAIL in these houses. They are bland, plain, and just so.... basic. The furniture is even worse. The beds look like boxes with no detail, all the furniture does.

Not only that but the graphics are so bad that you can actually see some of the graphics in the back popping in through spots in the furniture. Nothing like having a couch with "holes" in it so you can see the color of the wall peeking right through.

It may be that I am really picky about games/graphics, and things have to be perfect. It's true: I want what I pay for. I do not want a game that looks like it was put on the shelf, flaws and all, just for the money. That is what this game is, a poorly made game... put on the shelf in a nice package... to get your money. I want people to care about the games they make, and see that it is THEIR WORK. What I said about this game: How could they put it on the shelf like this. If it was my game, I would want it to be great.

The controls are terrible. It is like the screen does not read your stylus at all. When trying to do anything, you have to keep tapping and tapping, only to get no where. When placing furniture, the camera controls are off and placing furniture is hard. I end up with more furniture sitting inside other furniture than anything else.

Not worth the money. I took mine back and got a better game.
