4.0 out of 5 stars One of the best multiplayer games out there
This game features a multiplayer setup which is straight-forward to play. At each turn of gameplay u cannot get lost, as they constantly remind u how to play. I guess thats the game developers way of eliminating a load screen, while u wait to play. The game is fast paced and u have a hard time at first until u learn the ropes. Basically u have to win competitions...

3.0 out of 5 stars Our House Party Review
This game was okay. The characters are fun. I enjoyed some of the mini games, the others have potential. It was very annoying to receive directions for every mini game, even the ones you play often. It wastes a lot of time. It also took a while to understand how to play and win some of the games. If this game was cleaned up a bit, it would be a lot more fun.

I guess thats the game developers way of eliminating a load screen, while u wait to play. The game is fast paced and u have a hard time at first until u learn the ropes. Basically u have to win competitions such as sawing, hammering, garden maintenance, and more. This game has good replay value, I've owned over a month and still trying to beat it. If u want a challenging game, give this one a shot...

4.0 out of 5 stars Good if you like mini games, December 29, 2010

This game is fun for someone that likes mini games. It's a good game to play in a group. You play to build you haouse better than the others on the block. I wish you'd be about to pick who you want to decorate it but all it in it's a fun game again only if you like mini games because that's all it really is.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not what I thought it was going to be..., September 11, 2010

First of all, I received this game from my best friend as a birthday present and was also one of my first games. She judged the game by its cover and thought it was going to be like a "Sims" game and build houses that are run down by going to the store (I love remodeling and decorating games). Well it is not. If you are a person who likes "party" games and has a family with small children then this game may be for you. If are like me a young adult and needs something a little more challenging and interactive then this game may not be for you. Also, if you don't understand what a "party" game is... you will soon find out because it is like a virtual board game that includes mini games. The player must win the majority of the mini games to get ahead and win. In this game the player who wins the majority of the mini games ends up with the better house. I never knew party games were like this until the game was gifted to me. This game literally made stay away from ALL games with the title "party" in it.

In a nutshell, I expected that I would be able to repair the run down houses on my own and not compete with others. Along with having a little more choice in decoration. Well lets just say you don't have that much freedom.

This game is quite a bit different than the description. It is very slow moving and it's my first Wii game that I regret having purchased.
