First Few Pages Worth the Price of this Book, October 10, 2006
This review is from: Our Invisible Bodies: Scientific Evidence for Subtle Bodies (Paperback)
The first few pages are worth the price of this book. The author gives a masterful presentation of astronomical evidence for massive and invisible "dark matter" structures on a galactic scale, everyone will learn something new here, tantalizingly juxtaposed to the subject of our own invisible (energy) bodies. According to this evidence, more than 90% of the mass of our universe is invisible, i.e. cannot be directly seen by current technology, the unseen mass exposed only by the gravitional influences it has upon visible galactic objects. How many of you knew that? If the rest of the book is as good as this, it will have all the makings of an historic and eye opening classic.

a little hard to get through, April 23, 2010
This review is from: Our Invisible Bodies: Scientific Evidence for Subtle Bodies (Paperback)
Jay Alfred is doing something that very few, if any, other authors are doing - he is bringing the cosmic understanding of plasma down to earth in a fractal kind of way and giving evidence for the fact that like galaxies and our sun and our planet have a plasmasphere, so does the human body. Since science has yet to proclaim that we have these bioplasmic energy fields, his work remains in the realm of "pseudoscience" - but he makes a very convincing argument. I give it 4 stars because it could have been better edited - it is a little difficult to read, but great information nonetheless-

Plasma, Plasma and more Plasma (Ions for Eons)., March 31, 2011
This review is from: Our Invisible Bodies: Scientific Evidence for Subtle Bodies (Paperback)
I've been reading all three of Jay Alfred's books and, so far, I've seriously enjoyed all of them. I actually haven't been able to put them down. Although, I have to say, that I would really love to see his future research go under the knife of an experienced editor though. That really is a lacking element so far. Concepts seem to tangent at times, and cutting edge science begins to blend into vague speculation (sorry, just an opinion). There is a lot of attention payed to Annie Besant, Charles Leadbeater, H.P. Blavatsky and Barbara Brennan. So, if you are into Theosophical writings and new age healing you will be very pleased to see this work compared to modern scientific theories.
There is also very nice introduction to the "Electric Universe" concept in this book. Which is probably worth the book's price in itself, as it's not so easy to get well researched material about this concept just yet. And, despite my rip about tangents there really is an incredible amount of research that went into all of this material, it's just that it could be organized better. Otherwise, these books would have recieved 5 stars from me.
Also, I couldn't find a Table of Contents anywhere on this book so I've listed one for your interest:
