About the Author

Gail Jardine was a newspaper reporter, author, and owner of Newsletters, Ltd., a corporate newsletter service. As a very spiritual person, Gail was very excited to begin work on this book as soon as the opportunity was presented. She painstakingly interviewed each contributor, traveling throughout the Chicago area to do so. She also went to Delaware specifically to meet with the sculptor, Charles Parks. Through her research, Gail was able to garner a strong feeling about Our Lady of the New Millennium's story; what she means to those who visit her, and the graces she bestows. Gail gave selflessly in the pursuit of telling this story. She put her heart and soul into this work, and very much looked forward to seeing the final product. Sadly, after over two years of work, Gail's health began to fail, and she passed away on January 17, 2009, just after completing the book. Those who knew Gail would tell you that she lived her life with great passion.

This book is a wonderful telling of a man's dream and passion to make that dream a reality. Well written. Bought it for a friend and lived it myself.
