I have used this book with my homeschool co-op class for 2 years now and absolutely love it. This is the best book I have found for a thorough study of not only the legal and governmental aspects of the Constitution but also the history behind it. I have used it with multiple ages and also refer to it when I have questions about what I hear on the news. Wish our elected officials would complete this book before taking office.

This book is listed to be use with Tapestry Of Grace. That is the history curriculum that we use in our home-school. After reading a comment someone else made, I was unsure about buying this book. We are not liberals and we don't want a slanted view of history. I want truth. It is hard to find history books that don't have bias. People write them and people are bias.

I like this book because, it starts with the Declaration of Independence. On one side of the page is the original word for word copy of the Declaration. That is defiantly not bias. On the right there is an explanation of what it means. Here is one quote, "...That God gives all of us certain rights that cannot be taken away..." That doesn't sound liberal to me.

I think you should look at the book yourself before commenting on it, not take someone else s opinion as fact.

The book is written in manageable sections. After each "lesson" there are some worksheets that go over what the student should have learned. The book ends with trivia cards so that you may play a game to practice the material. I love using games to teach. I think we learn better when it a game, so I was happy to find that the book comes with these cards.

Al-tho I have not read the whole book, I have looked it over and read sections. I like what I see.

This will be a great teaching tool for our family.
