this is a charming and wonderful book,

this is a charming and wonderful book. mostly french and american photographers. each one includes a little snap of herself. the text is wonderfu. lots of these women had hard times with their mothers, some adored their mothers, some LOST their mothers at an early age. It is the perfect book for a friend who is a woman AND a photographer, or is a MOTHER, or is a girl. It is also a good book for YOURSELF. It isn't slick in its presentation and the images aren't FABULOUS, but the sum is greater than the parts in this book. I give it a RAVE>
