About the Author

Leif Anker is a Norwegian and has worked as a free-lance journalist. He writes mostly about cultural monuments and museums. At present he works at the Society for the Protection of Norwegian Historical Monuments in Oslo and Akershus. Leif Anker has also published a handbook for museum employees.

Ingalill Snitt is a Swedish photographer based in Paris. She has published a book about Gotland and another about Swedish interiors. She has also published two books of photographs, one on Sweden, the other on Sicily.
